1. The service

Konform ("the Service") provides automated web accessibility scanning, monitoring, alerting and reporting against WCAG 2.1 A/AA criteria. The Service is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], [OPERATOR ADDRESS] ("we", "us").

2. No conformance guarantee, no legal advice

Automated accessibility testing can reliably detect only a portion — commonly estimated at roughly one third — of WCAG success criteria. The Service, its scores and its reports document automated findings and monitoring activity. They do not constitute a conformance certificate, a guarantee of compliance with the European Accessibility Act, the BFSG or any other law, and they are not legal advice. You remain solely responsible for your website's legal compliance.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may only scan websites that you own or are authorized to test.

4. Acceptable use

  • No scanning of websites without authorization.
  • No attempts to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • No reselling of the Service without a written agreement.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, which handles VAT/sales tax and is the seller of record for the transaction. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy for refunds.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice for material changes.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including fines or legal costs arising from accessibility non-compliance of your website.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW JURISDICTION]. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
